Dump Site Outreach

One of our favorite activities is to share the very present love of God with children living in harsh conditions. In Cavite’s slum and dump site areas, basic needs are often impossible to come by, such as nutritious meals, clean clothes, and adequate housing.

In an effort to show the extravagant love of God, we have also had the opportunity in recent years to host various events in dump site communities, such as a carnival and wedding ceremonies.

LifeChild continues to be actively and regularly involved in various outreach programs throughout Cavite to slum areas and dump sites, assisting in feeding programs and gift-giving for children and families. In addition to our own children’s homes, your support helps to feed hungry children in these slum communities as well. College Scholarship Program

The dream of one day becoming a college graduate still lives within the hearts of these young people living in slums and dump sites, despite the overwhelming odds stacked against them. Without outside assistance, these dreams will never be realized and the cycle continues to the next generation.

To secure a moderate to well-paid job in the Philippines a college diploma or degree is essential. Even to work at a fast food restaurant, a diploma is required.  As a college graduate a young person is guaranteed to secure a job, a dream fulfilled for these young people and an opportunity to help rescue their own families from poverty.
